Women and Weeds

Inspired by a quote from Martin Luther (a prominent figure of the 16th-century reformation) that ″Girls begin to talk and to stand on their feet sooner than boys because weeds always grow up more quickly than good crops.″ Thus the emergence of plant material in the work to celebrate the enduring strength of women. For what are weeds but living things that thrive in the harshest conditions.
